We felt that Shin-Etsu Food Industry Co., Ltd. is contributing to the community and the environment through CO2 reduction and local production and consumption of electricity.

We would like to introduce a case study of Shin-Etsu Food Industry Co., Ltd. implementing a solar power PPA with Aozora Electric. The company decided to install demand devices and began to consider reducing electricity costs. They made efforts such as introducing energy-efficient refrigerators and turning the power on and off according to electricity peaks, but felt they had reached their limits when they saw an article about Aozora Electric in a newspaper advertisement.
